Boredom: it is always inevitable

You can hear me belt out tunes, quite off key and a bit too loud, at the kitchen counter. It's a free show to anyone who cares to put up with my pesky habits; when the house is quiet, the heat index is 102 degrees, and the mid-afternoon television is treacherous, it is then that I turn to my handy iTunes library and the shuffle button. I have roughly 47 days worth of music (and sadly that's only a little over half my actually music library; the rest disappeared in a tragic data transfer to my, what was then, brand new mac), and I know every single word to every single song. I guess you could call me a boss, ha. Today is definitely a Paul Simon kind of day, only the best for my most mind-numbing, mundane days. How can this Paul Simon song not get you on your feet and dancing, and Chevy Chase just adds to its awesomeness. So, yes this is how I spend my boring days; music up, my Honest Tea in my hand for when I get parched, and my white socks on to slide vicariously through the halls. If someone has any better suggestions as to how I should spend my ho-hum days off work, please feel free. For now I will be harking my terribly heinous voice to old school rock. Adios mis amgios.
